Teen High Zombie Squad began as a personal project I developed in my own time, working with the very talented stylings of my good friend James Brouwer, who developed the character designs with me. We merged our art styles together calling it "Brundle fly" resulting in the art style you see in the video. The project was pitched to Krome Studios where it was successful as far as getting a team of up to 12 assigned to the project, among which was my good buddy Damian Pin who is responsible for the kick ass animation in the trailer. Under my direction, we created this trailer and a playable demo in 3 weeks (a lot of the art assets here were already built before the project was pitched to Krome). The trailer was successful in catching the eyes of a few different publishers but unfortunately Krome recently went into liquidation. As the creator, art director and co-character designer this is my most proud work to date.

This was a test animation I did for Teen High Zombie Squad. The audio was taken from the movie "What about Bob?". The lighting was executed by my freakishly talented and sparkly friend Boon, then comped by myself.

I did this animation for fun. I'm rather attached to the THZS cast and don't feel like i've accomplished what I set out to do with them yet. Short film maybe...? The audio here was taken from the movie "Zombieland". Now with 100% more rendering!

It's the Chief! Love that guy. This was done as a test for a Microsoft "Battle Cards" game. I'm a bit of a Halo geek so I got pretty excited when I got to animate this character.

This was an in-game pre-vis animation created for Clone Wars: Republic Heroes to test a feature cam take-down move. The idea for the move is that when you're within a certain range from an enemy, your "grab" or "interact" button would activate a canned execution move.

Kul Teska was the main villain in Clone Wars: Republic Heroes. The game design had the player fighting this enemy in three different arenas throughout the game. I've collected some of the animations I did for him into one long compilation.

I worked on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed a few years ago and this was one of the God of War style Quick Time Events that featured in the game. I had two weeks to complete this (including a fail animation). There were no storyboards for this QTE so I had the pleasure of coming up with this sequence and boarding it myself. It's not the most polished piece of animation due to the time constraints I was under, but I still think it's pretty cool. I had a lot of fun animating this one!

The big guy was a Junk Golem on the exterior, but under the armour there's a crazy little Yoda-ish jedi named Kazdan Paratus. Boss fights are one of my favourite things to animate in games so I had a lot of fun with this.

This is a music video that I directed, composited and edited for the band The Red Paintings. Despite the small budget and tight production schedule, I was able to create a video that the band loved. It was filmed over a weekend and we had a lot of fun making it.

I worked on Powderfingers "sunsets" music video as a compositor and editor. I was lucky enough to get to meet Bernard Fanning a couple of times when he would visit the studio to view rushes. Nice guy!
